I am a Certified Co-Active Life Coach (CPCC) and a Master's level mental health clinician. In my coaching practice, I use approaches drawn from Positive Psychology, CBT, narrative therapy, and Mindfulness.

I work with individuals seeking to break from old patterns, who are feeling stuck, or struck by a life-event, or when life & the self seem out of balance. My Style is warm and Psycho-educational. I mainly weave in tools from the world of Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and narrative therapy.

What Is Positive Psychology?

[change this] Positive psychology is a scientific approach to studying human thoughts, feelings, and behavior, with a focus on strengths instead of weaknesses, focusing on building the good in life instead of repairing the “bad”, and taking the lives of average people up to “great” instead of focusing solely on moving those who are struggling up to “normal” (Peterson, 2008).

What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a form of therapy that is effective for many different disorders and problems. CBT is a solution-focused approach to treatment, oriented toward recognizing thought patterns, solving problems and learning skills.
